I know I've been MIA

Sorry to anyone who has been wondering where I am. I have jsut been in a serious non-computer mood since before vacation. So I have been spending lots of time with dear hubby and doing lots of nothing. Whihc is good for the summertime, The summertime invokes doing nothingness. I doubt i will be online much for a while yet until the wind changes, so jsut letting everyone know I am fine and dandy and in good spirits as well.
Went and saw Superman yesterday, it was better than i thought, although i think instead of Kryptonite, they should cut off his curl and his powers will cease. hehee, That friggin curl was perfect even when he was down and out. LOL. Also saw Pirates of the Carribean, The first one though, in preparation for seeing the second one. Ahh cheesy good/bad summer movies. have to gear up for Clerks, and SoaP too! Whooie!

Have iPod, will travel

This thing is the best freaking thing ever. So, tomorrow we leave for our vacation in Athens, Georgia. I am so glad I bought this iPod, it takes some time to load crap in, but then, no CD's, no cases, no fumbling, it's all at our fingertips. Also,having 5 days worth of music in something that fits in your pocket is mind-blowing. See yiu all next weekn, when I post drunk pics of Feaks. The Countdown Continues

We only have about 8 days left til vacation. We are both so excited and happy to get away together. It's beena longtime, nearly 2 years since we went away for more than an overnight trip. I've been busy loaidng up the iPod with more music for the drive. That's the only part that stinks.

ummm, yeah

For those of you who had to deal with me over the past weekend, and wondered what the hell was wrong with me, here's a bit of an explanation. I go through bouts of depression, they don't happen frequently, and are usually gone within a few days, so since I really don't like taking meds, I don't really treat them. They used to be much worse when I was younger, and I chalk it up to hormonal fluctuations and such. Since the hormones are a bit more regulated with birth control, they are less frequent and less severe, which is a good thing. I was whacked out back then. So anyway, this one was a bit different , for some reason I was completely paranoid and was thinking things I shouldn't have, and ended up doing things I shouldn't have. So, in turn, hubby and I had a major rift that we are working on. The rift was completely due to me and the paranoia that was festering in my brain. So, for any of my readers, do I have any, I'm going to be a bit less around, and a lot less in the flirtation department on Murmurs. Because my husband and marriage really are more important to me than Murmurs, it's a necessary change, so I might appear a lot less fun to some folk. I'm just warning you all. The depression phase still hasn't left completely, neither has the paranoia, but it is starting to fade, so it will be gone eventually. I don't really want people worrying about me, since this is stuff I have been dealing with my whole life, and I am used to dealing with it. I'm just not sure how many of you have ever seen it in action, and I know I was pretty curt and pissy this past weekend. I'm sure my few friends thought I was pretty fucked up, but now you know, so you know. You know?

More baking

My allergies have been botheirng me, and i think I may have gotten about 6 hours of sleep since Thursday, so I have been pretty out of it today, but I did manage to make cookies. Chocolate chip this time.

I've been lax

I know I haven't updated this thing in a week or so, but life has been busy with its innaneness, so there hasn't been anything to really post about.
We watched Match Point and I have to say it's the least Woody Allen-ish movie I've ever seen by him. Hmm, Scarlett Johansen is still red hot, so although it was long winded, it was worth seeing her half naked and getting it on.
