So, my family actually did call me, in fact my mother called right after i posted the first post, but nothing was much different from our conversations in the past. I've come to expect no less. My FIL, sister, and MIL called throughout the day, which was ncie as well, especially since i have not spoken to my sister since labor day, I think, possibly before that. It's jsut damn near impossible to get it touch with hre, between her work schedule and whatnot. i did learn my 18yr old nephew CJ :)got his driver's license, finally. woohoo! now for the 17yr to do it as well. LOL.I also had a few surprises in my mail bo, and I'll post that pic in a bit. Chris and I went to an irish pub I found called the Hibernian
and the food was aweosme, we loved the cozy atmosphere, dark wood, and the staff were friendly. I'm thinkin of writing a review, heehee. anyway, we had ballymaloe mushrooms, which were two mushrooms center to center filled with garlic cream cheese, and battered, deep fried and served with a creamy horseradish sauce. My only complaint, i would have liked a wee bit more horseradish, but they were awesome.

as you can see.

and then i had Guiness irish Stew, and Chris had Shepard's Pie, with lamb, no less. Both were excellant, and I couldn't finish mine.

and then onto dessert. I did nto take a picture, as i think the staff thougth i was weird enough taking pics of my food. LOL, but needless to say it was very good. I had an orange choclate guiness cake. Now i am not so much into choclate desserts. i prefer a piece of choccie to osmething choccie flavored, but this was divine, over the top rich, but not over the top sweet, and the hint of Guiness and orange was spectacular. Are you hungry yet??? heehee.
so, onto the pressies. anyone who knows me, knows I love Eeyore, so Eeyore pressies are always appropriate. and the fam obliged me in this obsession as well.

so all in all, it turned out to be a filling and satisfying day.
